Information we collect and why

When you submit a quote request, we collect your name, email address, optional phone number, vehicle year, make and model for automotive requests, or property type, city or ZIP code, optional window count or approximate area, and priorities for property requests, plus selected services and any project notes. We also record a request identifier, reference number, submission time, and the version and time of your agreement to our website terms. You provide this information directly; optional fields are marked in the form.

We use these details to evaluate and respond to your request, discuss a potential project, maintain a record of our communications and your terms acceptance, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. Submitting the form does not make a booking, take a payment, or enroll you in email or text marketing.

The hosting and security services delivering the website receive technical information such as your IP address, browser information, requested pages, and request time. Operational logs may be used to deliver, secure, and troubleshoot the website. The inquiry form does not request payment information, government identification, precise device location, or sensitive personal information. Please do not include those details in notes.

We do not sell personal information submitted through this website or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. The retention criteria for the information described above are explained below.

Who receives information

Inquiries are stored using Cloudflare’s hosted database infrastructure and accessed by authorized people handling Mafia Wraps inquiries. Our site and hosting providers process information needed to operate, protect, and support the site. When email notifications are enabled, inquiry details are also processed by the configured email delivery provider (Resend or FormSubmit) and the email services used to receive and respond to inquiries.

We may disclose relevant information when required by law, to respond to valid legal process, or to protect people, investigate abuse, or establish or defend legal claims. We do not publish inquiry submissions. Independent services that you choose to visit or load handle information under their own policies.

Cookies, outside services, and your choices

Our website code does not use advertising pixels, audience analytics, or marketing cookies. Hosting, security, or authorized administrator sign-in may use necessary cookies or similar technology. The inquiry form keeps an unfinished draft in memory while the page is open; it does not save the draft in local storage or send it before you submit.

Optional 3D viewer: on desktop, the embedded WrapColor wrap and tint visualizer is off until you choose “Load visualizer.” On phones and touch devices, “Open visualizer” opens WrapColor directly. “Use my car photo” also opens the provider’s photo viewer directly. Opening either viewer connects your browser to the provider, which can receive your IP address, device information, and viewer activity and may use cookies or similar technologies. Review WrapColor’s privacy policy (opens in a new tab) before opening it. Quote requests submitted inside the visualizer are processed by WrapColor and shared with Mafia Wraps along with your selected vehicle and build. You can keep it off and use our website’s quote form instead.

To withdraw permission for further embedded requests, use “Turn off viewer” on the Wrap & Tint Visualizer page. This removes the embed but cannot undo information already sent or remove cookies set by the provider; use your browser’s settings for those. We remember this choice in session storage for the current browser tab, including across page reloads. Turning the viewer off clears that choice. Closing the tab ends the session. This storage contains only the viewer permission choice, not your photos or build. Instagram and Facebook are ordinary links, not embedded tracking widgets, and their privacy policies apply after you follow them.

Browser signals: our site does not track your activity across other businesses’ websites for advertising. Because those activities are not enabled, our own data collection does not change in response to the older Do Not Track signal. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control, the optional embedded viewer remains disabled. You may still choose to visit the provider’s separate website. Independent websites may respond differently to browser signals.

You can manage cookies through your browser. Blocking necessary cookies may affect security or sign-in features. Visiting a link to an external service is your choice; its own privacy and cookie controls apply there.

Retention and security

We retain inquiry details and agreement records for as long as reasonably needed to respond to the request, manage any resulting project or ongoing relationship, resolve disputes, and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. Relevant criteria include whether a project is active, when we last communicated, and whether a legal obligation or dispute requires preservation. Technical logs are subject to our hosting providers’ operational retention practices.

Inquiry records do not currently expire automatically; deletion requests are reviewed and handled by the business. Records retained for legal reasons are limited to that purpose, and backup copies may remain until the applicable backup cycle ends.

We use access controls and hosted security features to protect information. No transmission or storage method is completely secure. Our providers may process information in the United States or other countries where they operate.

Access, correction, deletion, and other requests

Use the email address associated with your inquiry and, if available, its reference number. Do not send identity documents or payment details. You do not need to create an account or agree to the website terms to make a privacy request.

We may need to verify your identity and an authorized agent’s authority before disclosing or changing records. We respond as required by applicable law and explain any lawful reason we cannot fulfill a request. We do not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.

Depending on your residence and which privacy laws apply to our business, additional rights may include knowing the categories and sources of information collected and disclosed, receiving a portable copy, opting out of sale, advertising-related sharing or certain profiling, limiting certain uses of sensitive information, and appealing a request decision. These rights are subject to the applicable law and its exceptions. To raise a concern or appeal, use the same contact with “Privacy appeal” in the subject. You may also contact your state privacy regulator or attorney general.

Children’s privacy

This site is intended for adults arranging business services and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action, including deletion where required.

We post revisions here and update the date above. For material changes, we will provide a prominent website notice or contact affected people when appropriate or required, and obtain consent where required before using previously collected information in a materially different way.
